Whales
It's been very nice the last couple of weekends and so we've actually managed to get out of the house and into much more pleasant surroundings. Last week we went for a stroll in the Ku-Ring-Gai NP with Jarrod and Adelle and yesterday we went whale watching from the cliff-tops at North Head.
Being mid-winter, there are still not many critters about in the bush but the Humpback Whales are well into their annual migration. We watched a pod of four heading north being hounded by a swarm of whale-watching boats. Not sure what the whales make of it all but they seem quite relaxed and play about on the surface a bit.

We're off to New Zealand on Thursday for Emily's Dad's birthday and to sort a couple of wedding arrangements. It's still relatively chilly here just now but I fancy it's going to be properly cold over there...
