Mushrooms

Well here we go! It's been a (strange) dream of mine for as long as I can remember to grow my own mushrooms and now it could finally be happening. I just bought a kit from Bunnings which simply consisted of a bag of mouldy straw and some soil in a cardboard box. They reckon we'll be producing mushrooms in a matter of 3 weeks or so but I'm thinking this one could go either way. We have to weigh up the two opposing factors that this is a Bunnings kit after all and so might just do nothing and, even if it does, the resulting produce may prove inedible. On the other hand, my house has a proven track record for growing fungus. Watch this space...!
