Happy Christmas!

Variegated Fairy-wren

Well the new job is still going fine and with a couple of tweaks to my route (thanks Paul), the commute time has been cut down to only 35 minutes which gives me a whole 5 extra minutes in bed in the morning. Nice.

Monitor hiding up a tree

The weather down here has been a bit bad recently so I've not managed to get out and about that much. A trip with Jarrod down to the Royal NP a couple of weeks back being the only exception. The bird-watching was pretty good and there were loads of big monitor lizards wandering about. At one point a couple of Lyrebirds were running round our feet for about 10 minutes. They were too busy chasing/escaping to even notice we were there!

Crazy Lyrebirds

The football is all finished for the year now and I ended the seaon with a couple of trophies. We won the Tuesday night competition in North Sydney and tonight we were just beaten in the final of my Monday comp at Sydney Uni.

Big Ears - Sydney Uni Div. 2 Runners-Up

Only a couple of days to go before the Christmas break now and so all the very best for the holiday season and a very happy Christmas to you all!
