Snakes!
This one's for my lovely Auntie Linda who was disappointed to see a lack of spider pictures on the blog. Sorry Linda but I'll keep an eye out for some particularly nasty examples of our eight-legged friends and include them soon. Meanwhile, here's a couple of pythons that we stumbled across up in Queensland. They're harmless. At least I think they are!

Well thanks for that ozzy nephew, I'm quite partial to the kind that don't move fast and sleep a lot. Bit like me and Big Toe really. But he's not keen on anything with not enough legs or too many legs. Love the beach views. Can you take underwater shots next time please? (no, not of birds)
great site, none other than your Father put me on to it. traveled a bit myself and your posts remind me of the exitement of those very first days in a new place with eyes bulging and guide book a continual reference. Good on yer mate
